Who We Are
Eric Morris and Laura Rudolph Morris are Twin Cities music theater artists and collaborators. Independently, they each have vast careers within many spectrums of the arts community; Laura as a performer, educator and event planner, and Eric as a performer, director, designer and producer.
Together in 2022, they created Buzz Music Theater, a production company that crafts vibrant musical theater events infused with the spirit of popular culture, creating a nostalgic and contemporary tapestry of the commercial human experience.
In 2023, they founded The Hive Collaborative, inheriting the space created by Dreamland Arts. The Hive hopes to be a community hub for artists to thrive and create in the heart of the city.

The Hive Collaborative continues the mission of Dreamland Arts, building a healthy community through the arts. Dreamland Arts founders Zaraawar Mistry and Leslye Orr created the space in 2005, as it was previously inhabited by Hedtke Electric, and was an electrical contractor’s shop. They purchased the property and renovated it into the intimate, well-equipped theater we call The Hive.
Eric and Laura bring their artistic vision to The Hive, and hope to expand the breadth of opportunities that the space can provide to the community.
