Humanitarian Indie-Folk musician Composey's album "rooted" holds themes of belonging, community and activism. Album release Sunday October 18 at The Hive Collaborative. Doors will open 1:30pm with The New Prescriptions opening with folk covers.  Composey will play alongside the talented band members Greg Schutte (drums/percussion), Nick Salisbury (bass), Robert Bell (lead guitar), Elinor Compton (cello) and Jess Bandelin (backing vocals). Admission is pay what you can. Proceeds will cover the space and band, excess will be donated to mutual aid for our immigrant neighbors.

Liz Camozzi, (Composey,) is a singer-songwriter and music educator in the Twin Cities, MN. Indie-Folk singer-songwriter, Composey is dedicated to bringing humanity forward in her music. Songs center on social-emotional health, social and environmental activism and celebration of gender diversity. "Rooted" is her third album reflecting on the importance of healing as a community in these times, and she enjoys collaborating with local musicians to create a warm musical "hug" in her performances and recordings.
